Project Description
ICON Technologies developed a LabVIEW software application for the client that automated the measurement of dynamic parameters (specifically blood vessel diameter) from archival videotapes of ultrasound images. The application combines serial control of a professional grade JVC video recorder with real-time acquisition and analysis of image frames.
It was about 5000 times faster, and 4 times more accurate than the manual system that it replaced.
