ICON Technologies offers a range of LabVIEW and custom training courses for users with different requirements and with different levels of experience. We have our own dedicated training facility, although all courses can also be offered at your premises if required, subject to minimum enrolments.

Regular LabVIEW Basics and Intermediate Training Courses
In partnership with National Instruments, we deliver regular LabVIEW Basics and LabVIEW Intermediate training courses in our own training room for new and for more experienced LabVIEW users. Delivery of a course is subject to minimum enrolments, typically 3 to 4 persons per course.

ICON Technologies also runs several training courses that are not part of our regular training schedule but are offered from time-to-time, or are available on request, subject to minimum enrolments of about 3 to 4 persons per course.
|LabVIEW Data Acquisition and Signal Conditioning
||3 days||As per National Instruments standard course and fee structure.|
|Transition to LabVIEW||1 day
|Designed to introduce I/O programmers experienced in text-based environments such as C, C++, or VB, to the unique features of the LabVIEW data-flow language. Assumes familiarity with standard programming concepts and the basics of I/O programming.
|Transition to LabVIEW Real-Time||1 day
|An introduction to the LabVIEW Real-Time Module and the tools and techniques required to work with National Instruments' RT hardware targets. Assumes LabVIEW experience to the Intermediate II level or equivalent.|
|Transition to LabVIEW FPGA||1 day
|An introduction to the LabVIEW FPGA Module, and the tools and techniques required to work with National Instruments' RIO hardware targets. Assumes LabVIEW and LabVIEW RT experience to the "Transition to LV RT" level.|
|Transition to LabVIEW DSC||1 day
|An introduction to SCADA concepts, the LabVIEW DSC Module, and working with LabVIEW in industrial monitoring and control. Assumes LabVIEW experience to the Intermediate II level or equivalent.|
|A National Instruments Data Acquisition Primer||1 day
|Designed to meet the needs of those who want a broad overview of I/O basics on all the National Instruments hardware platforms (USB/PCI/PXI, Compact FieldPoint, Compact RIO etc). Covers hardware configuration, troubleshooting, the MAX Utility, and programming models. Ideal for technicians and others who may need to support or troubleshoot a National Instruments measurement system. Does NOT assume any knowledge of LabVIEW.|
|A LabVIEW OOP/GOOP Primer||1 day
|Do you know LabVIEW, but are new to the principles of Object Oriented Programming? This course gets you started with the principles of OO, and compares the various native and third-party options for working with Object Oriented Programming techniques in LabVIEW. Assumes LabVIEW experience to the Intermediate II level or equivalent.|
|LabVIEW Device Communications||1 day
|Covers the basics of communicating from LabVIEW to external devices via serial, GPIB, or TCP/IP. Assumes LabVIEW experience to the Basics II level or equivalent.|
