Range of Custom Software Applications
- Our applications for clients range from small stand-alone datalogging systems for a few channels of data, to large-scale measurement and automation systems that combine high-channel count data acquisition, complex instrument communications, real-time data analysis, and remote monitoring and control over networks or the internet.
- We can supply a complete turnkey system with off-the-shelf hardware, or work with your existing hardware to integrate data from different sources into a single application software interface.
- We have particular expertise in working with mixed I/O systems that include combinations of:
- Voltage and current transducers (accelerometers, encoders, flow, frequency, load cells, LVDTs, pressure, RTDs, strain gauges, thermocouples etc), at sample rates from 1 sample/hr and slower, to Gsamples/s.
- Instruments or devices that communicate via RS-232, RS-485, USB, GPIB/IEEE.488, TCP/IP, and other industry-standard protocols.
- Industry standard PLCs and RTUs.
- Modular instrumentation architectures such as PXI, VXI, and VME.
- Multi-axis motion control of servo- and stepper-motor drive systems.
- Standard and non-standard analog video sources, digital line scan cameras, and digital area scan cameras.
